SEBI amends the Research Analysts Regulations, 2014, by introducing a definition of “institutional investor” aligned with the ICDR Regulations, 2018. The amendment clarifies that maintaining call recordings of communications with institutional investors is not mandatory and takes effect on the 30th day from Gazette publication.
