The amendment extends the SEBI Vault Managers Regulations, 2021 beyond electronic gold receipts to bullion-related instruments, including bullion ETFs and derivatives. It adds requirements concerning bullion custody, reconciliation, security, compliance oversight and investor protection; it comes into force 90 days after Gazette publication.
